League Rules: 8 v 8 (7+1) A match is played by two teams, each consisting of not more than 8 players, one of whom is a goalkeeper. Teams must have a minimum of 4 players to begin a match. Teams which do not have 4 players to begin a match will have to forfeit. Players must be on a team roster to play in the league. Teams using a player(s), not on its roster, will have to forfeit the match, notify the opposing team captain and referee of the player(s) not on its roster before the game can start. Players cannot be added to roster without board approval after season has started.
1. The league will provide a certified referee to officiate matches. If a certified referee is not available the league will appoint a referee to officiate the match. 2. A forfeit will result in a 1-0 match loss to the forfeiting team. 3. Games consist of Two (2) 30-minute halves. If games begin late, game length may have to be altered. 4. Shin guards are mandatory. 5. Offensive language or gestures will not be tolerated, and will be subject to immediate ejection plus 1 game suspension. 6. Penalties: (Yellow Card = must Sub off for 2 minutes, (Red Card = send off and must sit out the next scheduled match. 7. Kickoffs can be played in any direction. 8. Sub "on the fly". The incoming player must be at midfield and leaving player must be off the pitch before incoming player can enter the game. 9. No off-sides. 10. NO SLIDE TACKLING permitted, except by the goalkeeper(s) referee’s discretion. A slide tackle occurring in the penalty area will be awarded a penalty kick. A slide tackle occurring outside the penalty area will be awarded an indirect kick. Cards will be issued per FIFA rules. 11. No punts or drop kicks permitted. An indirect kick at midfield will be awarded.
